Growing Plant-Based is a newly launched charity, run by a small team of dedicated volunteers, passionate about creating an inclusive plant-based future that enables all children to thrive.
By volunteering with Growing Plant-Based, you’ll be helping to break down barriers to eating plant-based and play a crucial role in supporting parents sustain their families plant-based journeys by providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to raise healthy, happy plant-powered children.

Social media content contributors.
Get creative and harness the power of social media to help us advocate for the benefits of plant-based eating and vegan lifestyles - from pre-pregnancy through to adolescence. What's involved: • Crafting engaging and informative posts and/or reels for our Instagram and Facebook accounts. Commitment required: • This opportunity is open to a number of volunteers who can dedicate as little as creating one post a week, to once a month. The more active we are on social media, the greater reach and visibility we'll generate! What you'll need: • Access to a secure internet connection, your own computer/laptop and a space to volunteer remotely. • A creative mind with a flare for crafting compelling messages and designs suitable for social media. • Your experience as a parent or a background in childhood nutrition, development, education or psychology, animal advocacy or environmental sustainability. What we'll provide: • Access to our Canva account. • Our branding and social media guide to help you on your way. • A collaborative and supportive remote-working environment. • Credits on posts to your personal/business profiles, where applicable. • The opportunity to make a profound difference to all life on earth - human and non-human alike, and our natural world - by advancing a societal shift towards plant-based eating and vegan lifestyles.
Writers.
Use your flair for writing and special interests across raising plant-powered children, paediatric nutrition, and sustainability, to develop informative articles that support plant-based dietary and vegan lifestyle shifts within families. What's involved: • Crafting of engaging, informative and referenced (if relevant) articles for our blog or resources for our website. Commitment required: • This opportunity is open to a number of volunteers who can dedicate as little as a one-off article/resource, to being a recurring contributor! What you'll need: • Access to a secure internet connection, your own computer/laptop and a space to volunteer remotely. • Succinct writing skills with the ability to craft compelling messages. • A background in childhood nutrition, development, education or psychology, or in animal advocacy or environmental sustainability OR • Your own personal story about raising plant-based kids that you would be willing to share. What we'll provide: • Our writing style guide to help you on your way. • A collaborative and supportive remote-working environment. • Credits on articles linking to your personal work, where applicable. • The opportunity to make a profound difference to all life on earth - human and non-human alike, and our natural world - by advancing a societal shift towards plant-based eating and vegan lifestyles.
